COOLPIX cameras
Using the SB-900 with i-TTL compatible COOLPIX cameras is possible, with the
exception of some functions.
The SB-900’s available functions vary depending on cameras in use.
See your camera user’s manual together.

With the COOLPIX P7000 and P6000, wireless multiple flash shooting is possible
when the SB-800, SB-900 or Wireless Speedlight Commander SU-800 is used
as a master flash unit and the SB-600, SB-700, SB-800 or SB-900 as remote
flash unit(s). Set the flash mode of the master flash unit to “Commander”
and remote flash unit(s) to “Remote”. The SB-800 or SB-900 used as a master
flash unit and set to “Commander” cannot be fired. The built-in flash on the
COOLPIX P7000 and P6000 cannot be used as a master flash unit.
Set the group of remote flash unit(s) to “A” (other groups cannot be used). Set
the flash mode of flash unit(s) in group A to TTL, and the master and remote
flash unit(s) in groups B and C to “
” (flash cancelled).
